I've said more than once that I felt that he was blocked into the QB on this particular play. I've also said that Fairly had "dirty" plays earlier in the game besides this play.
If you want to call Fairly a POS, that's fine by me. However, I think you should reference a legit piece of film.

It's all good Hull.
Like I said it's different on the field. The pushing, shoving, hits out of bounds, etc., isn't stuff that the players get up in arms about. They consider it a casualty of the game. It's expected to happen.
Benches clearing, punches being thrown, coaches having to tackle players is inexcusable though. There was no winner in that fight. Both teams should be embarrassed with how they handled themselves.

Dude.....
While Fairley had his share of misdeeds in this game, I'd say there were enough misdeeds on both sides as evidenced by the PF's on both sides during the game. I'm sure it'll be more of the same next year. We don't like yall and yall don't like us. Please stop crying about it. Yall had a four game winning streak going into tonights game. Look forward to Athens next year.

I really wish that the GA coaches hadn't restrained Josh Murray from running after Fairley while he was prancing around in the middle of the field. The resulting brawl would have meant that the national media might have picked up on why two Auburn players ended up ejected, and the SEC would have had to actually do something about what has been a season long embarrassment- Fairley's cheap shots on QBs.
The SEC at this moment just cares about getting two teams into the BCS games and the money it will bring. Since the national media is too busy with stroking Cam Newton's "victimhood", then they can also completely ignore the actual proof of dirty play on the field by another member of this fine Auburn squad. My favorite moment of the night came when Danielson explained Fairley must still be in Murray's face minutes after the play had ended and the ball had long been thrown ( a second or two before Fairley had hit Murray in fact) because their facemasks were stuck together. Utter BS.

If you watch the video , look how Fairley keeps at least one Auburn player between him and the Geogia players, never actually getting involved in the scuffle. Yet when things are broken up he gives the WWE Belt geture and runs to midfield like he's just whipped someones arse. Then Coach Tupac runs out there with him to show him some love. I'm just amazed he wasn't waving his stupid fricking towel.

this whole thing is the reflection of Chizick or whoever the frick you spell it. He is a classless, loud-mouthed thug who has the whole University and fan base lowering themselves to the crapper for the sake of finally trying to win something. Thank God I am not, nor could I ever be, an Auburn fan. I bet there are many self-respecting, decent Auburn fans right now who are as disgusted as the rest of us. Anyone, I mean ANYONE who can defend that horrible display last night is a piece of trash.

My impression of Fairley from the first time I really noticed him (Aub vs Arky) and through subsequent games of watching Auburn, is that he is trying to hurt the opposing QB.
Leaving all questions of the timing of his hits aside, I notice him pile driving, using his helmet as a weapon, sticking his knees into opponents, and generally playing dirty.
He's been flagged only once that I can remember for the helmet hit to the back of Murray. I thought his hit to the knee of Murray was deliberate. He used his arms to carry his fall (he was blocked) into Murray's knees and appeared to stick his helmet (as a weapon again) right into Murray's knees. I don't blame the UGA fans for being pissed off.
That's my opinion and I DGAF if Aubies don't like it.
Son of bitch is trying to hurt people. And I agree with OP.
It's sad because Fairley is a talented guy and obviously has the makings of a great defensive lineman.
That said, I am glad his college career is almost over and especially that LSU won't have to face him again.
