You're saying you would rather have Chizik over Meyer and Saban. At this point, that's pure homerism and delusional.
This.

Fact. I would rather have Chizik. He will be at AU a long time IMO.

I like your optimism. Looking forward to the future battles between LSU and AU on the field.

I would not trade him for any other coach in the SEC right now either.
Balderdash.
This is just plain retardation, ignorance, and overall fan bias.

No, some of us expect more out of a football coach than wins....we also expect them to behave with class and not, for example, rant and rave about "commitment" while displaying no understanding of the term in his own life....
For all any of us know Chizik will end up being as good as Saban. He was a part of back to back undefeated seasons as a DC, so we already know he understands defense as well as Saban. Probably better actually as Saban is pretty basic and seems to just operate off of the "out-talent them" page of the coaching manual.
Right now I think the difference in the two is that Chizik has just begun his career as a head coach.
Look us up in 15 years and we'll revisit the subject.

And Alahunter chimes in as expected......
I will say this about Tiny Terry: He had an unbeaten season.....that's still a great accomplishment. He probably would have been a good coach for a long time had he not neglected recruiting.....

Exactly! I don't remember a time that Auburn people have been more united behind our coaches and our program or as excited and happy about the future of Auburn football.

It's amazing really......who would have ever thought Chizik would be the one to unite the various factions like this?
It's the first time since Shug's tenure that everybody is on one sheet of music.
