Tua is going to have a Colt McCoyesque NFL career. If he didn't play @ BAMA he's a third rounder.

Colt’s dad seemed controlling but at least he didn’t beat up his son like Tua’s

Colt may have needed his butt whipped.

Beyond controlling, but you are correct... not in a physical way.

He wasn't replaced because he was playing bad.

He also led Bana to 3 tds and was driving for another.
1st TD drive - 2 passes for 26 yards (75 yard drive)
2nd TD drive - 0 yards (75 yards, all RB runs)
3rd TD drive - 51 yard TD pass

He “drove” 11 yards on 3 plays- from the 20 to the 31. And then Jalen took over and went 70 yards.

Again...led Bama to 21 points. Dont care how he did it. Hurts led Bama to 14 points. Again dont care how HE did it.
The point of the game is to score points and win. Doesn't matter how ots done. If you throw for 300 yards and 3 tds but still lose the stats don't matter.
He battled, Hurts battled and it got done.
My narrative is that Tua will go high in the draft. It wont matter what I put on here or believe and it won't matter what anyone else puts on here or believes.

You should go jack and rewatch that game. Now you’re just parroting what you’ve read over and over. LSU was in 3 receiver sets for a majority of that game.
% of LSU's called pass plays with 6+ players blocking
2018 vs Alabama: 80% (32 of 40)
2019 vs Alabama: 11% (5 of 44)
Or we can look at it as...
% of LSU's called pass plays with 5 players running routes
2018 vs Alabama: 20% (8 of 40)
2019 vs Alabama: 89% (39 of 44)
Quite the change in offensive philosophy. Which led to the success of a great QB in the passing game.
For context: Tua never had a game last year where he completed more than 4 passes with 3 or fewer players running routes.

Burrow wasn't bad in 2018, his receivers dropped everything, no chemistry and an offense that didn't fit his skill set near as well as 2019 and as much as Cinci will.
TBH I was more impressed with Burrow's ability to extend a play and his willingness to run and take a hit than anything else he did in '18. I'm not sure anyone could have ever expected his accuracy to take such a dramatic rise. The guy obviously had leadership qualities but his incredible leap in passing is something we probably won't see another player do again for a long time. To go from 57% to 76% and to do so while throwing passes that weren't just simple one read and throw slants against SEC competition is insane.

Tua’s troubled accuracy
False. His accuracy is beyond what the chart can even measure. He’s freaky accurate.
That’s what makes him chose throws he shouldn’t try. Decision making is what Tua needs to work on.

The slant narrative is funny. LSU hit 75 slants last year to Alabama’s 37. If you’d like the link for that I will provide it, I’d suggest you just take the L though.
Joe also had 275 more pass attempts than Tua.

I agree with them. He could be good, but what I have watched the last 3 years I dont get why he is some cant miss prospect. I wouldnt take him in the first round.

Imagine having a QB with "98.4%" accuracy in tight windows and getting beat 29-0 by a guy on one leg with "24.2%" accuracy and then giving up 41 points to him the next year when he's not healthy again.
I think they might want to run those numbers again.

The only real concern with Tua (aside from the concern for every college player about transitioning to the next level) is health.
This is just another example of a college player that NFL scouts have been analyzing for several years and now, all their energy is about nitpicking anything.
