a charter is basically a plane rented out for a specific purpose. it can be a small private style jet or a 747.

a private is just that, privately owned for private use.

It seems like it sort of does mean "private", or would I be able to buy a ticket to get on your plane?

Eta: explanation above makes sense. Thanks.

I've worked these things in the Quarter for 14 years. It was the same in 03 and 07. Bama has more fans then those two did but in talking to them alot do not have tix but are making a weekend out of it. What LSU fan is going to troll Bourbon on a Sunday night? Tomorrow is going to be crazy in the quarter and surrounding areas, me and my family are taking the ferry from the Point to hang out during the day if the weather is ok. I agree with 60/40 Tigers inside tomorrow. Half and half with mostly P&G endzones.

When I said "worst" I meant it from a Bama fan's perspective, which is obviously what I am.

I know you are a Bama fan and I guess I did mis-read your perspective of "worst". However, you guys will be misled just like OU and Ohio State fans were.

I went downtown on Sunday night prior to the game with Ohio State and all I heard was "where are all the LSU fans, aren't we in Louisiana?" Ohio State had a lot more fans in the Quarter than LSU did.

Once you got close to the Dome Monday afternoon there was no doubt in anyone's mind that LSU had a whole lot more fans there. Same thing will happen tommorrow.

Bama has great support from their fans and Bama fans travel extremely well. But, You guys just didn't have access to tickets like we did for this game.

Are you really that frickin stupid? Bama fans are in the Quarter. LSU fans are all over the rest of the city, plus the ones from BR and everywhere else in the state and gulf coast who havent even left yet. If you dont think for a minute that the dome and the city wont be predominantly LSU then you're a frickin idiot. 17,000 Bama fans in the Quarter looks like alot now, but it WONT look like alot tomorrow and in the dome come gametime...you're a frickin idiot.

AJ has played at Happy Valley, The Swamp, The Barn and at Starkvegas. He won't be fazed by the crowd.

Let me take the LSU perspective:

"Florida was number 12 when we played them, ON THE ROAD!"

Lulz, that is most certainly a Bama thing. We don't have to spin our schedule this year.

LSU fans have been screaming about playing NINE BCS ranked teams this year.

I will not be surprised if 50% of the dome is crimson and white.

an individual can have his private pilot's license and own his own plane or rent/lease one and just fly family and friends around at no charge.

in order to fly charters, i believe, a pilot has to have a commercial license (involving a huge upgrade in $ & flying hours) which would enable him to charge passengers for the flight.

JJ has won on the road at better environments and against better teams than AJ has. If you cannot concede this point, you are pretty damn hopeless.

JJ did get the majority of the snaps AT bama this year didnt he?
