not even close, there were more UT fans in the stadium.

it was very close to 50/50.. maybe a little more Texas

maybe he meant Bama fans in the area.. i would assume its the same phenomenon though.. Texas fans had been to Pasadena twice recently.. no reason for them to be there early and be out sight seeing..

I would imagine the people flying chartered planes to the game on gameday aren't the ones who will be making a lot of noise.

I'm not the one claiming my team is going to have a home field advantage in new orleans.

GayJ pooed his pants at home against this D. I'm sure he'll just excel in a dome with 40,000+ people screaming at him pre-snap.

I would love to hear your reasoning behind this line of thought.

At the Rose Bowl in 09. I bet 'Bama fans were 3 to 1 over Texas fans

I was there. There were more Texas fans, but by a slim margin. This is Alabama though. They took 26,000 fans to the rose bowl to watch Bama get their asses kicked by UCLA in 2000. They show up.

A frickload do not have tickets. I know two that travelled from Houston Friday. Neither have tickets. Tons and tons from alabama are there with no tickets.

Why should Bama be worried about being outnumbered 55-45 or even 60-40? Im pretty sure when Bama plays in Baton Rouge it is vastly more lopsided.... Bama will feel more at home in New Orleans than they would at Tiger Stadium.

Have you ever stopped and thought about what would happen to an LSU fan's ticket if he were to suddenly get very sick and die?

the company we are using has 6 planes and there are three other travel companies doing it. And all those fans actually have tickets.

Fwiw, this is not unexpected. Alabama fans, while close, are still "tourists" that had to travel, book 3 night minimum hotel rooms, and were expected to have a majority on the streets days before the game. I know 25-30 people going to the game and all but 3 aren't driving in until tomorrow morning. Hell, half of them are even working 1/2 a day tomorrow.

didn't realize there was a direct correlation between mode of travel and noise produced.

There's a lot more LSU fans out today than there were last night. Of course they may have all been in black and gold.

Tomorrow even more LSU fans will show up. I'm sure some Bama fans will come in tomorrow too but there's no way its anywhere close to the amount of LSU fans.
