Relapse,

I've said it before. I'll say it again. I'm glad Missouri isn't in the South. I love being a yankee! I'll laugh harder each time us yankees beat one of the Southern greats.

I mean, how embarrassing would it be to lose to shitty Mizzou? Especially losing to the one team that doesn't belong. A team of dirty yankees.

Regarding Mizzou's Rock M in the north endzone, and the traditions associated with it like our seniors each taking a piece of it home with them on senior day, I would say this: If Texas A&M had a longstanding big white rock "aTm" in one of its endzones, I'm pretty certain it would be celebrated by them, SEC fans and the nation as "one of college football's great traditions" and "an iconic, cherished aspect of Kyle Field that should never be touched" and so on. Because of the name Mizzou and both the self-loathing of some of our own fans and the general stance of the SEC fans on here toward us, the same thing is "bush league" and "a waste" and something our fans should "get over" and pave that paradise and put some luxury box seats into instead. Just my take.

I live in Texas and it's really really hot. Not sure in this thread if that's an inflammatory statement or not. Get it, inflammatory...hot...oy, I deserve to die...

mizzoukills - I've come to the conclusion that Missourians are in fact "Yankee-Rebs" who can therefore be an automatic object of derision either for a true Northerner or a true Southerner. And just as an actual "Yankee-Reb" would appear to be at war with itself, Missouri is in actual fact pretty good at shooting itself in the foot, which I guess is kinda the same thing.

Cue Busey's blood veins bursting for that tangential Civil War reference in 3..2..1...

By the way one honest question - has Ralston Purina ever filed a lawsuit against Tennessee for its endzone? If not I want in on that action...I mean they even put a dog next to it and everything...

Pretty sure the SEC doesn't hail any of aTm's traditions as iconic. We mostly think they are asinine, as are yours.

You contend we would never say this about aTm? Example: This is commonly said about aTm's fight song being entirely about Texas. Swing and a miss.

What you mean "we", only-a-few-decades-removed-from-a-lifetime-of-being-in-a-conference-with-all-Texas-schools White Man?

Pledge training is generally a privilege that the seniors get to partake in. You and the Cocks are still mid-semester sophomores at best.

What in the world is laughable about a bunch of guys in what look like sailor suits bending over and yelling a "Hump It Cheer" all in a row and...oh...hmm...
OK point taken

Don't hate just because Arkansas was 20 years ahead of Missouri's. We are visionaries, face the facts.

Petrino's chickie is back on the market, go get yourself somma that strange and maybe you will relax a bit.

Well we couldn't do something cool like put an 'eye of the tiger' on our field cuz then you guys woulda beaten the shite out of us off the field for jacking your idea in addition to eventually beating the shite out of us on the field as well. No win situation for Mizzou nation.

The eye of the tiger on LSU's field has got to be one of the coolest field designs in all of college football. Also I wish Mizzou could get a real tiger like Mike, that is just so badass.

FightTigers - Mizzou did the real Tiger thing briefly as I understand it some time back before I was born, don't recall if it was 50s or 60s or what. And I don't know what happened as to why it was discontinued, hopefully it ate the ku band or something...

Yall need to, most teams in the SEC have live mascots. Alabama needs to get with the program and get themselves another elephant.
