Paint on a ramp? Who would of thought of such a novel way to honor irrelevancy?

Don't most of your stadiums have a ring of honor or something similar?

LSU has the names and numbers of TWO players, Billy Cannon (Heisman) and Tommy Casanova (one of the most decorated defensive players in SEC history) and THATS IT as far as personal recognition. And I'd say we've had one or two more successful players and coaches than South Carolina

when you're little brother to clemson who is little brother to just about everyone else then sometimes it is necessary to take some creative liberties when it comes to stadium decor

ETA: ok i'm sorry, i just had that one waiting and i got tired of holding it

LSU just started hanging SEC banners in the stadium starting in January. Guess they wanted to honor the 2011 team...

I wouldn't pay any attention to the haters if I were you. USCe is not a tradition rich program like others in the SEC and Spurrier has done a great job in getting them relevant and locking down most of the in state talent.

UGA fans are hatin cuz they know if it weren't for their cupcake schedule and USCe tough schedule, they wouldn't have made it to ATL last season.

Clemson? Our winning streak against them is longer than the one against Georgia.

Georgia, UTe, UF & Bama fans -- y'all just jelly.

I refuse to believe that is true

The entire inside of the stadium, opposite the video board, and parts of it on the outside on Bluff Road as you’re headed into the city, are plastered with stuff like this.

Tributes to the amount of catches Sterling Sharpe had in a season and so forth. This is def real

No ur hatin cuz ur jealous of Spurrier's success since he's made USCe into a formidable opponent and not a kick dog.

Really? What are we suppose to be jealous of? I agree that UGA and UT are jealous cuz y'all have made the east a competition but I don't understand why Bama should be jealous. I can assure you that I am jealous of noone.

Personally, I will never have a problem with honoring my coach -- particularly when he is Steve Spurrier. Now, if my team's coach was Richt, Dooley, Swinney or Petrino -- yeah, i could understand your shame.

It's a bit off topic, but I wish Tennessee would take down the names and numbers for Manning, White, and Atkins. Only players that should have their numbers retired are Nowling, Tucker, Fuson, and Klarer.

There's no changing of the guard IMO but Spurrier has done something amazing at USCe and that's make them competitive for years to come. Even after he's gone, they will continue to get top notch recruits and compete for the east cuz of what Spurrier has done there. They are no longer ragdolls and some fans find that hard to accept.

you're seeing an SEC East led by an unstable UGA and a peaking USCe when UT is in the shitter and UF is rebuilding. you get the 3 power schools back I am sure USCe will assume it's normal role. and for the record since the 2000s USCe has never been a rent-a-win, they are a tough out. just a tough out you know you're better than

Clemson?

Has had 8 10+ seasons. Odd fact, 7 of their 10+ seasons were won by an ex Alabama football player (Howard, Pell, Ford, and Swinney) and 1 by ex Arkansas player (Hatfield).

They might have been a tough out but Spurrier has taken them to new heights IMO. Even when the east was more competitive, they were up there. They've come a very long way since Holtz went winless a few years before Spurrier. I don't care for Spurrie but you've gotta admit that he's done a great job for them and he deserves all the recognition he gets. It's not easy winning at USCe.
