WTH are they doing in that pic? Singing the Aggie fight song or something? Was alcohol involved?

Edit: L-R TAMU AD Byrne, TAMU President Lofton, SEC commish Slive.

Definitely looks like they're singing the A&M fight song. And I'd say for fricking sure alcohol was involved judging by the rosy cheeks.

I plan on making the trip to College Station when Auburn plays there in a couple of years. Please tell me that the town isn't really as gay as people say.

Rich Uncle Pennybags in the middle will fit in with that bow tie when the Aggies come to Oxford.

It's a college town and there are 50,000 college kids who live there, so definitely not

I believe Ball Gravy posted something on here earlier today with a rundown of everything to do, but there are a shite ton of bars and restaurants right by the stadium and a solid tailgating atmosphere that will only be better our second year in the SEC.

I think the people who actually travel to A&M will change their tune, our fans are die hard about Aggie football but very nice and will go out of their way to make sure all SEC fans have a good time.

That's what I expected. Obviously I know that the town isn't going to be full of figs. I actually think this will be one of the best trips in the SEC.

Looking forward to visiting The 12th Man. My dad said he went back in the 80's with one of his buddies and said it's one of the greatest environments he's ever been to.

IF our game is moved from Jerry World to College Station this year, I will be making the trip.

Got a friend that lives on Lake Conroe.

The crazy thing about Kyle is that the south endzone is almost completely open. If we ever close it, even partially, it's going to be damn loud. I'm really interested to go to some SEC games to see how Kyle stacks up noise-wise, I've only been to Baton Rouge and Oxford and just tailgated outside.

Only 45 mins or so away, a great place to stay if you have someone willing to stay sober to drive there.

You definitely need to hit Auburn and Tuscaloosa. Both are uniquely SEC experiences IMO.

I will do at least one and hopefully both this year. If for some reason I don't do one it will definitely be at the top of my list at the next opportunity. I think A&M and Auburn/Bama fans will get along well since we probably won't be beating either any time soon and there's no history of animosity like with LSU and Arkansas

Auburn and A&M have a lot of similarities. I definitely want to see College Station before I graduate.

I still hate A&M for thinking that coaches going from Alabama to Texas A&M work out. It's the other way around.

Out of all our future match ups with no real existing history I think this one has the most potential because of this. If we can make a few steps up to consistent 8 win territory in the near future there could be some great weekends ahead.

I would like to think our administration learned from the fricking Fran debacle, but this is A&M. A couple bars/restaurants in town have pictures of all our head coaches on the walls and he's left out of most of those collections

Interesting. I always had great times with my OU friends because it was pretty much always a given they would kick our arse

I don't completely understand the deal with A&M though. You guys should have a pretty good recruiting base, but never seem to make it into that upper echelon. Is it administration that holds you guys back, or are there are other factors involved?
