le. Unlike football, everyone has a chance to play for the title in basketball if they win their way in thanks to letting conference tournament winners in.
ok but i think the top regular season teams at least deserve a bye in one round, perhaps two rounds. teams who played much easier schedule shouldn't be on equal footing with teams that played tough schedules.

If you are a 1 seed, you play a 16 seed which could be comparable to a bye.

that's prettyy much true in the sense that i often have trouble remembering who lost in the national title game the year before.
I dont believe you. You're telling me that you can't remember who lost the previous year's CFP Championship game? I habe a feeling you could.

last year was one of the exceptions due to the exciting ending.

still , players are at risk of being injured , etc. i think a lower seed should have to win more games in the tournament to win it all than a top seed.
also don't think a 7 seed like cocks should have a crazy home court advantage against a 2 seed.

i understand a lot of you irrational unhinged SEC team fans hate me.
u florida fans all mad that the team that knocked your team out of the tournament didn't make the finals. that is tough stuff when you view SEC as some kind of tag team sport. lol

For most 16 seeds, its called the play in game.

name another team that lost in one finals and came back and beat same team in finals next year.
Miami-Spurs is one, CLeveland-GOlden State is another.
Clemson-Alabama.

You could put MSU women's basketball in that story after last night.

Not football, but didnt Duke do it against UNLV back in the late 80s-early 90s?
Posted on 4/1/17 at 8:08 pm to BoddaBoom7
i think Duke was blown out by UNLV the first year but it wasn't in the title game.
then knocked them off the next year in the final 4 or title game. but Greg Anthony had foul trouble and fouled out and that made a difference.
correction, UNLV did blow out Duke in the finals.

you can lol all you want because its women's basketball. What MSU did last night was impressive compared how they were blown out against UCONN in the tourney last year. Redemption stories just don't belong in football

not in the title game though, right?
yesterday wasn't the title game.

i'm here to talk about the tournament games, not ACC, or SC vs Clemson.
reason i don't post on Tigernet is the Clemson sidewalks never shut up about the 'coots'. i'm not interested in hearing about 'the coots' 24-7. they just another team to me.

Duke beat UNLv the next year in the final 4, not the final. i'd be willing to say that is best redemption story on account it was the worst blowout in history of tournament the year before.
but best title game redemption story belongs to the CU tigers. wow

'91 final four.
Pretty redemption-ish to me. Dabo got outcoached in 2015 plain and simple
