I get that, but it's such a dangerous precedent to set. Now all kids have to do is get their parents to do everything for them and if they ever get caught just say, oh wait what? I never knew about any of this.

You are right, we should throw the rule book right out the window.

This view really is having your head in the sand. If you have a counter argument, I welcome it.

Once money changes hands, it doesn't matter. The NCAA has said that from day 1.

I never said in my post that they should go back and punish Cam or Auburn doll. I just said the loop hole needs to be closed and I gave my reason why. You came along with shite about life not being fair.

I don't think money changed hands. The only prob I've ever had and still maintain, is that his dad acted as his agent. He was over 18, stated he gave his dad clear and sole decision making on where he would go. IMO, that made any decisions his dad did, culpable to him and he should have lost amateur status to play at any NCAA institution.

Cheer up. Coonass and Al Bundy think Relf is better than Cam anyway. You guys should get your trophy this year.

Nothing we can do about Cam, but this is how the rule should be changed to read.

So the loophole is:
A parent can solicit money but not get any money then go to another school because they can't get paid?

Yes, it puts the school that is being soliceted from at a competitive disadvantage.

Then there was no unfair advantage and you should quit your bitching.

Not bitching. Just pointing out that the NCAA is erratic in their interpretations.
