For all of those crowning OU after the 1st game..

In April.. OU won the 1st game of the series..
Texas won the next 2 games..

In May.. A&M won the 1st game of the Super Regional..
Texas won the next 2 games..

In June.. OU won the 1st game of the series..
Texas.. ???

It's a tall mountain to climb..
but Texas has shown some fight after a loss..
just have to win this next game..

Let's do this.

The two games Texas won were both 2-1 scores. I bring that up as a positive. OU can score but OU can also struggle. You never know what team shows up between the two when facing each other.

Wrong. All 3 games were in Austin. OU has not played tx in Norman all year. Played tx 5 games so far, 3 in Austin and 2 in OKC (B12 title game was 4th).

But I do agree its not over and we’ll get a desperate team tonight so lots of ball yet to play.

My bad.. I flipped the OSU and OU games in my head.

Either way, it's a tall mountain to climb.

OU is a juggernaut.. but we have a really good team..

We can win.. but we will have to play just about perfect.. and hope that OU makes some mistakes or struggles at the plate..

The ump last night had a tight tight tight strike zone. That hurts us, especially Kavan who is still learning.. Maxwell was able to handle it because she has so much spin and so many different pitches..

That isn't a complaint.. It's a compliment.. You guys are better.. we need some help, any way we can find it.

This series is over. Texas shite the bed with an extra day of rest.

I said before the game Texas doesn’t have the offense to compete with OU and it’s still true. This will be over tonight.

And yes I know you beat them 2 of 3 in the regular season but none of that matters. OU knows how to turn it up in the postseason and yall were lucky to beat A&M

This OU team is vulnerable. They simply aren't quite as good as they were the last two years. But they are playing about as well as they have all year right now.

But last year's team was ridiculously good (obviously) and had a lot of good timing and good fortune. OU's team this year didn't seem to have a lot of that. But they have had all that in this CWS with the exception of the first Florida game.

OU is likely going to go with their other pitchers. And that gives the advantage to Texas who's foursome are tougher than OU's threesome of May, Deal and Keeny for this game.

I'm sure Texas will start with Big Mac. But they should be in good shape for a game three with all their pitchers being ready for another duel with Kelly Maxwell.

The CWS umps have all been “different” than regular season. Not sure if it’s intentional or what. But it was both ways. Can’t remember the inning but we had 2 outs on ya then on full counts a great strike just inside the zone was called ball and both walked. Luckily the next batter stuck out swinging. Then when OU batted next they got the same treatment for one batter there was a strike just in the zone called ball and we walked. We were doing “drink” every time a really bad ump call was made lol.

It does change things for pitchers. Maxwell has never walked so many batters the whole season. She didn’t forget how to pitch or change. And its all the teams fighting this. My guess is they narrow the zone in playoffs. That first FL game was as narrow as I’ve ever seen. Once pitchers try and adjust their margin of error is much less and this leads to more HRs. Most of the runs by all teams in CWS have been HRs.

I’m just stunned UF actually pushed OU the way they did.

I don’t see anyway this doesn’t end tonight.

Next year might be the year you have to get OU, because if you don’t get them next year, they might win 8 straight

Next year we will be taking some lumps. Lot of new faces and we lose so much experience.

2026 we should be elite again.

Florida has a very bright future ahead....was really impressed with the whole squad...very fun series to watch.....next year sec softball will be amazing to watch.

I've been wondering what ucla will do next year....I'm not sure very many teams in the B1G play softball.

What are y'all thinking...does Texas force a rubber match tonight or does OU win the last softball champ for the B12 for the foreseeable future tonight?

I mean OK State could eventually win one and maybe Baylor but they haven't been as good since Whitney Cannion?

I like the chances to close out the season tonight...momentum is in oklahomas favor....texas is really good, but oklahoma has the mental edge having been here 4 times in a row. If Jada Coleman and Alyssa Brito no show tonight it's a totally different story....can't keep expecting the freshman (Parker and pickering) to carry the load like they have been. They have been phenomenal.

I unfortunately have to agree. Yall seniors have that mental toughness and you can be down 5 and still be in it. That's crazy to think about but it's true with y'all.

But I think it's a repeat of last night close until it's not.
