Season series is tied, 2-2. Texas is tough. They are no joke.

New blood is always good. I am happy with the supers because it is increasingly likely a team that has never won is going to do so this year. All you need is a great pitcher (just one) to win in softball.

Anyone penciling OU as winner needs to check themselves. They are not as dominate. Maxwell pitched good enough to win but they don’t have a Jordy Bahl type on staff. Gwtting Maxwell to replace her was great, but not the same.
This series will be a fight. They also know each other from having played 4 games this year, so no surprises.

Agreed. And it's a rivalry game to boot. Texas is no slouch this year.

All rivalry hatred for UTerus aside, this is going to be an intense series. Cannot wait for the repeat of 2022 WCWS Final. Hope it goes the same way! Best of luck to Texas. I'm for sure not discounting you all. You played us very tough this season.

OU just played 15 innings of softball against Florida, in those 15 innings OU had zero ABs while leading.

That is a crazy stat right there..
Texas just played 19 innings against Stanford, Florida & Stanford..
and never trailed for even 1 pitch.. as they didn't allow any runs.. and only gave up 3 hits.. unfortunately, that streak won't continue..
