She threw middle-middle to every batter that inning. And got rocked. I don't know what she was thinking or if she was just missing her spots. That looked like BP pitching. If UF's bats don't heat up immediately, this game and the WCWS ride will be over in just about 7 innings. I'm guessing Walton saw a lack of focus or something in pre-game as he went out there and seemed to chew some arse after just 13 pitches. Suffice to say it's not looking good right now.

The bats disappeared lol - it happens every time they are in OKC.
Their freshman pitcher gave a Herculean effort against Okie State, and got ran out by 13 pitches.
Texas is elite elite elite but Florida collapsing in this way is typical Walton teams.

As far as Oklahoma not having to travel far during the NCAA Tournament; well, that’s the benefit when you are always good, you get to host a regional.
The only home-field advantage I’ll give you is more for the OU and OSU fans. They don’t have to travel far. But the players don’t have any further advantage that the other teams don’t have. Like I said earlier, OU still has to play the game. Oklahoma has made several trips to the WCWS where they have not come out on top.
