Anyone who's opinion on the HUHN, no matter what it is, that is dictated solely by their current coach and current scheme is a short sighted moron.

Well, that is not true. There have already been discussion in the NFL and NCAA about shortening seasons (especially NFL).
Really? Link to NFL or NCAA officials discussing this?

Also limiting pre-season and regular season.

Are you living under a rock? Were you not around for any of the discussions about the NFL shortening the pre-season?

I just read a report saying they were thinking of adding to post season. Also they were talking about adding a preseason game.

Waiting for your link with the NFL commish talking about this. Some goofy writer or speculative blog doesn't count.

Not saying they weren't (i know they have talked about adding a wild card postseason game). Just pointing out that the claim that nobody is talking about limiting games is not true.

You can keep trying to make absurd points all you want. Doesn't make them any more valid.

Saban was the kid that lost a game on the playground and took his ball home with him so no one else could play.

Really? Link

quote:

The problem with an expanded playoff field is that it’s not certain the owners would approve it. Some owners appear wary of the perception that the postseason would be watered down by having more teams in it. That’s why an alternative proposal to expand the playoffs even further to allow eight teams in each conference to qualify for the postseason appears to have little chance of being approved.
But the league does appear intent upon trying to reduce the preseason, having acknowledged that the sport’s exhibition-season product is not up to its usual standards.

So a coach that runs a HUNH was the kid that hit somebody when they weren't looking?

He is right. He is saying that if you base your opinion of the HUNH based off of what scheme your current coach uses, you are dumb and shortsighted.

Nah, just hit him a second time without giving the other kid time to respond.

Anyone who wants to change this into a rule is a damn fool. Did we outlaw the slot receiver when they started becoming effective? How about the pass catching tight end? Or kicking with a holder? Or hell even the forward pass? This is such a knee jerk reaction

If the NCAA is so worried about player safety and more plays, why are they adding playoff system that puts forth more games on team's football schedule?

Has that been asked yet?
