Tossing a coach changes a score far more than a few balls and strikes. Are you new to baseball?

I must be. Tell me about all these scores coaches make on game day.

There are no exceptions for the CWS to NCAA rules that say “…shall be ejected.” “Shall” means not discretionary.
Maybe next time the coach will remember what “shall” means.

There is a reason why they are the head coach and the assistants are assistants....

No, hence the "sidewalk" portion of my username.

All he said was, That's 3. Umpire escalated from there.

After being warned for arguing balls and strikes and told to stop coming out with hand gestures to go back, he THEN kept coming out and THEN yelled at him he missed 3 calls already multiple times. This is pretty dumb stuff to do in a title game in inning number 1.

I mean, I get its a huge game and you never want to see someone thrown out, but lets not act like he had multiple chances to stop or deescalate the situation and he chose not to and got tossed.

He should be blaming his 1B coach for starting all this and then he escalated it. In college there is MUCH less room for this kind of stuff. College knows their umpires arent perfect or close to it, aruging balls and strikes and STILL doing it after being warned in the 1st inning when a zone is even being established is a good way to get thrown out a ball game, period.

Hard to have much sympathy for him when you watch the replay and the clear warnings, hand gestures, etc...it's inning number 1, dont do something so dumb to get yourself thrown out a title game. Just an absolute rookie mistake by the HC there. He should know better, this isnt game #1 in college for him. You dont go out to die on a hill inning number 1 in any game for what you perceive a strike zone is vs. isnt.

Certainly. Nothing like redneck sidewalk fans with no real affiliation with a school.

Damn.

You're actually retarded so that's an embarrassment to the university for sure.

Done quite well. I thought all anyone needed was to spell their name correctly to get into LSU.

I find that hard to believe, you can't spell, can't write, and are generally a dumbass.

Based on how it turned out I guess we don’t have to worry about shoes or what feet they are on. CCU coach embarrassed himself on national television and as usual the coach that had been there before acted as a professional and helped his team win a championship. Book closed. You and the CCU coach can all cry about would’ve could’ve should’ve but in the end it won’t matter. Chances are him staying wouldn’t have mattered much either.

I read about 3 pages, and skipped to the last page. This person is arguing just to argue because he thinks he can get under our skin. Don't try and convince he is wrong. Let them be wrong. They have the right too be wrong if they want to.

Again, name a championship game where this happened?

Name a coach that acted that way in championship game, after being warned.

Yes, the ejection was unwarranted IN THAT SITUATION, however if we’re being honest his “our streak, who is lsu, we are the giants not the Cinderella” attitude, yeah, he got what he was asking for.

Want to place a bet? Put your money where your mouth is. I write formal letters everyday, just post on forums and text in stream of consciousness. Don't care that much as I have the fancy paper.
