Nervous LSU may have Bama's # in this one. By score, they seemed to do pretty damn well this AM.

how do they match up the players from each team?

For the first pick the higher seeded team can pick or defer. From there it alternates like this:
Assuming Bama defers:
1: LSU, Bama
2: Bama, LSU
3: LSU, Bama
Etc.
Assuming Bama defers:
1: LSU, Bama
2: Bama, LSU
3: LSU, Bama
Etc.

I'm curious that myself. Looks like it's always (1) vs (5) but the (2) vs (4) and (3) vs (3) doesn't always happen. For example in the Bama vs. SMU match Bama had the #3 vs. SMU's #4.
I apparently don't know.

The coaches set what order they want the kids to play in

I hope wr take all 5 but would settle for 3-2
As long as the 3 are by wide margins

Do they just play 18 holes in this round or 36? Same question for championship round. 18 or 36?
All said in done, the final 2 teams will have a played a shite ton of golf in the last week or so.

Has anybody commented on the fact that a few Stanford kids, including the champ, use push carts?!

Yes, and while its not exactly the manliest thing to do...playing 6 straight days plus a big amateur circuit this summer...I don't really see the issue.

I think it's absolutely an advantage. It's just odd seeing these players use them when you never really see players using them.

There's nothing preventing any of the Bama players from doing it? So how is it an advantage?

I know there isn't. I recognize that it's a choice.
To answer your second question, it's an advantage because I think it's easier physically.
It just looks weird is all that I'm saying. As they also just happened to talk about on the Golf Channel.

And what did they say? Be curious about what more experts say on the topic. Seems like if you know it's not a rule then why not use 'em. It would absolutely use less energy that way and allow you to be more fresh. Dunno why the other teams/players aren't using them?!
