Well I like this.

Tennessee went winless in SEC play 2 seasons ago.

Awesome! A few less tears from the conspiracy theory losers on this board this coming season.

Not sure I like this, it's just too open to interpretation. And I mean yeah there are sometimes where there is clearly a malicious intent, but in plenty of other times a dude is simply blocking a guy who just doesn't happen to be looking straight at him. Is a block in a guy's arm/side/shoulder now going to draw a flag?

If a game reaches a fifth overtime, teams will run alternating two-point plays, instead of starting another drive at the opponent’s 25-yard line
That'll be interesting to watch play out.

Congrats, man! Biggest win for your tigers in over a decade.

Did you see the UCF hit on Joe Burrow when he threw that interception. Interested to know how that hit would have been interpreted. I know there are a million examples, this one just sticks out due to it being LSU related/recent. LINK
Good hit, or clear intent to kill our QB? BTW, this is why we love JB. Dude is as tough as they come.

That hit led to the rule change.
And it's Burrow.
And it's Burrow.

Yes I know. Typo. Are you saying that will be a flag next year? Not really sure how you prove intent. JB got absolutely rocked, but the defenders head was in front of his body. Just seems like another judgement call.

Woodward just announced as LSU's AD and he's already made the NCAA adjust three rules that affected LSU last year.
1. BS targeting
2. 7 OT game
3. cheap shot blocking Burrow
It's nice when your step-son is married to the daughter of the NCAA president.

Are they calling this the "Donovan Wilson" rule?

This was a targeting call last season. A&M was both the victim (2015 vs. Mississippi State) and beneficiary (2018 vs. Ole Miss) of this.

On the blind side block, it almost sounds like they are taking a basketball screen approach; you can stand there and literally get in the way of the opposing player, but if you move into him, it’s a penalty. Clean his clock and it’s targeting.

I think that OT Rule May have even longer OTs.
So you get to 5 with a deadlock. Each team has played a full game and probably another quarter to two quarters worth of extra football. Now we put the ball at the 3 against gassed defenses who are clearly at a disadvantage.
You may limit the number of plays but you could see an huge rise in the number of overtimes.
