Yep. It was perfect with the BCS top 2 teams. Didn't have a problem expanding to 4 teams but now it will be watered down garbage b/c the execs are money hungry.

It's interesting that they can field a tournament of this size, but for CFB: let's do 4 slots for 5 conferences.

You say 5 conferences as though it were a few years ago. There is plenty stupid going on with the new playoffs but when one of the Power 5 conferences went down to 2 schools, your 4/5 problem got kicked down the list.

Just drop the conference tournaments for power conference teams and have mini play in tournaments of 8 teams to play for those last 8 spots in the tournament

CNBC reporting adding 4 to 8 teams to the tournament via more play-in games to fill out the field of 64. All about the $$

If they do that, I really hope they stop putting G5 conference champions in the "Play In" games out in Dayton.

The teams that should be playing to get into the 64 team field, should be borderline P5 teams that have very shaky resumes. Conference champions, no matter the conference, should not have to play their way in the 64 team field.

Just my opinion.

So damn stupid. It'll turn into a participation tournament soon where everyone is included. Greedy fricks.
