He has like 90 balls hit this year with exit velo over 100 and his highest would have been top 10 in the major leagues this year (~116 against A&M). He’s a freak. Not to mention he’s fast and has a hose for an arm
I have no idea why he wanted to play college ball. He should be a multi-millionaire already. Lucky for us I guess

Stanton alone has 10 greater than 116 so I don’t think that’s quite right.

He is a central Fla baw and said he fell in love with LSU on his recruiting visit and thought he would enjoy it more there than in the minors. Gotta respect that.

He closed out the Gonzaga game and I think it was their plan to throw him in the first inning.

I’m talking about max exit velos, not one guy doing it multiple times. Right now, only 16 MLB players have it it that hard all season, according to statcast at least

I just respected him saying he wanted to play college ball and the experience of it and wanted develop as a player before going pro. Not a lot of guys like him who feel that way
