Tennessee Tech is an outstanding team this year. I understand how and why it would be frustrating but it's not like they're some scrub program. IIRC the Oxford regional was rated as the toughest of the 16. Had Tenn Tech won their conference tournament and put in a bid to host, they probably would have been a host.

They're number 1 in every single offensive statistic and have won 50 games before today. They were an obvious lock for a host but just didn't put a bid in.
