Yeah, he looks like Ned Nederlander (Martin Short) from The Three Amigos.

I bet seeing a game live at ND would be pretty impressive.

I was actually surprised ND didn't get #1 considering the source.

I went to ND stadium back when LSU played them there in 1998 and lost 39-36 even after going up 14-0.

Awesome campus and great stadium. But nothing really unique about the tailgating.

Same, they gave us some tasty 'brats'. Great atmosphere if you like to party w/o booze and with jesus watching you.

Army #1. This is the biggest joke list I've ever seen, as well as Notre Dame being #3, and this doesn't have anything to do with NBC's contract with Notre Dame.

I agree with that list except Nebraska should be number 1. That was the best stadium/atmosphere I have had the pleasure of visiting.

I think he has good reasons for his rankings. First off, they are based primarily on the football games and secondarily on the partying. He places high value on traditions, and Army has everyone beat in that department. When you throw in the surroundings and architectural beauty of Michie Stadium watching Army play is a moving experience. Then there is the unique connection between the fans, students and players that transcends winning and losing.

It's part of it, but certainly not the whole thing. Notre Dame has so much tradition, it would be awesome to experience that, no matter how light they actually party. If you can't see why Notre Dame would be ranked high, you're way too much of an SEC homer.
