I'm sorry, but anything Missouri and aTm won (and for that matter Arkansas and SC) before joining the SEC should not count as National titles among SEC schools.

I was wrong with the Sugar Bowl trophy pic. I did a search for Tubs and the People's trophy he accepted in the flatbed trailer parade, and didn't look closely. Wrong pic.

I'm not sure when they started putting Arkansas in there. It was there last year too.

Football national titles are always a touchy subject.
LINK
Scroll down to "Yearly national championship selections from major selectors".
You have a legit football title if your school is listed and has a BOLD selector listed for them that year.
"Teams listed in bold reflect the NCAA's designation as "Consensus National Champions" by virtue of their selection from 1950 onward by one or more selectors from Associated Press, UPI, Football Writers Association of America, NFF/College Football Hall of Fame, and USA Today."

Take 1964 for example.
Alabama : AP, UPI
Notre Dame : NFF
Arkansas : FWAA

Interestingly, Notre Dame doesn't claim 1964. Alabama could learn a thing or two from them.
Edit: And Crimson Legend conveniently logged off.

Another example is Ole Miss claiming three is a short span around 1960.
1960 is their only legit national title... And they barely got that one.

Check out Tennessee's 67 claim.

From their wikipedia
Claimed national titles 6 (1938, 1940, 1950, 1951, 1967, 1998)
Unclaimed national titles 8 (1914, 1927, 1928, 1931, 1939, 1956, 1985, 1989)
The frick? That's 14 all together.
They only have 7 they could choose from.

UT for you. They also make division rings.

This thread was great with Alabama fans trying to claim as many as possible while not letting anyone claim actual legit titles.

Crimson Legend not knowing the difference between the FWAA and Houlgate and thinking the Sugar Bowl trophy was a national title trophy.

You're the one that already admitted that you were wrong.
