Hmmm....a free, unencumbered opportunity to catch a ball......versus a catch with a future top NFL draft-pick DB fouling you, climbing up all over you, while you're running at break-neck speed down the sideline. Hmmmm.....
How about both are impressive?

AJ missed a great opportunity to be on the same Gamecock team with Alshon ... I'm sure he has his regrets given that he never beat the Gamecocks. Or wait, did he his first season? Yeah, maybe, I dunno.
Anyways, SC (the state) produces some big time WRs ... I wish SCAR could sign them all.

And The loss he didn't play in. Thanks to that ludicrous jersey-gate

Was he, he's been gone that long? My bad.
And yeah, I agree, JerseyGate was ridiculous. No argument there.

I am drawing a blank on the guys name, think it was Martin. Played for LSU and made one of the prettiest one handed diving catches against FSU in a fog filled Tiger Stadium. Played at least 5 years with the Saints.
Eta: Eric Martin. I think they called him ET cause he had long fingers

you must have a seriously overinflated opinion of your boy coupled with serious disrespect of your opponents. get real indeed

Some of you need to realize he said best hands, not best WR. Landry has some of the best hands I've ever seen. If you need proof just google his highlights. He makes some catches that are unbelievable.

Currently? Bama offers up Kevin Norwood, don't know how they stack up, but I've said before that Norwood is like a Landry-lite. LSU fans, don't get butthurt, I never said he was on Jarvis' level.
If you mean all time, then there are quire a few.

Kevin Norwood might not be as good all-around, but that guy has the stickiest hands I've seen.

He's not there yet, but next year I think DGB is going to be a forced to be reckoned with. He and Maty Mauk showed a hell of a chemistry in the Kentucky game.

"Stickiest hands I've ever seen" is an exaggeration, but don't act like his hands aren't up there with the best in the nation right now. Is he a top WR? Doubt it, but he catches almost everything you throw at him and has made a lot of great catches this year.

DGB looks like he will be a good one but no football story should include the phrase "in the kentucky game" unless it ends with ashley judd getting motorboated

Da'rick Rogers. He has too many amazing catches to list but his catch against Cinci when the Cinci defenders hit him from both sides and so hard they popped his helmet off (sucker went straight up in the air!) and then Da'Rick gave a broad helmetless grin with his arm raised in the air showing he had caught the TD was EPIC.
He's still green and has few catches this season but WR Jason Croom's catch against UK that unfortunately no one saw due to the Iron Bowl being on at the same time was another great one. He snatched an interception right back out of the defender's hands and took it to the house. It was awesome and Croom deserves note since the play was overlooked.
EDIT: I can't find high Q video that's not in a long highlight reel for Da'Rick's catch but here's a still shot that tells you a lot (the poor Cinci guys knocked themselves out and that grin on Da'Rick's face never changed -- he wasn't shaken up a bit):

I would have chemistry with DGB against Kentucky.

That's correct. Landry, god bless him, is not as great as A.J. Green because he's not as physically blessed... nobody but Calvin Johnson is. In the hands department, however, Landry wins.

Er, no. It's ONE catch that sat on a defender's back for the plucking. Sure, it was an unlikely catch but I've never understood the excessive admiration for that one.
