I’m aware of that.
Bit when Pickens was alive, he was their big money guy.
My point is that TAMU likely has more of a far-flung cadre of wealthy donors, rather than a singular financier.

Hey CG - yes Miles was one of the OG's when the firm started in Barnwell before it ever evolved into the Motley Rice of today.

From my time living in Gainesville, I know that Florida had George Steinbrenner (was on their BOD as well) and now has his descendants who attended UF. Ben Hill Griffin was a citrus industry king.
