He didn't say he wanted to get away from the university, he said he wanted out of the city of College Station. They are two separate entities, but apparently your ability to comprehend what you read is on par w/ the ability of your team to play football.
And no, people tweet about stupid shite all the time. It's not like he called a freaking press conference or organized a protest. It was one tweet to vent, and then a second self-pitying tweet to explain the first. It was lame, but holy shite, some of you are acting like he set fire to the courthouse.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the (meta)physics involved in getting away from College Station while simultaneously being near TAMU...

The town and college are indistinguishable. Stop arguing over it. JFF is a fricking crybaby douchbag spoiled little shite who needs to grow the frick up. He is not nearly mature enough to be the face of a major college football program. Denying that fact is completely outside the realm of reality.

Case in point, there are plenty of Aggies, Sooners, etc. that love Austin, but cannot stand UTx.
