You have to realize that this is all about getting USC back into the championship game. They have eliminated as many SEC teams as they can. Think about it!!
Georgia should clearly be ranked about USC because they lost to Alabama.
They think LSU will beat Alabama in Tiger Stadium so they have to keep LSU below Alabama. If they put LSU at number two and they win out they go Automatically but if they put LSU below BAMA and then BAMA loses to LSU the drop BAMA and they can skip over LSU. USC will be back in the top 5 very quickly. This entire process is trying to figure out a way to get USC in the NC game.
frick the polls. If the things stay the way they are right now, the real NC game will be in Tiger Stadium Nov 8th.
So bammer, you think all the coaches and Harris and AP voters got on a conference call to decide how they can best get USC into the bcs nc game? Or was it done by e-mail.
Do you think the fact that USC has a much better win than Georgia has anything to do with it?

Sorry for your loss, There are several Bama posters on here that are all class.
ok, you can cheer for the posters, but that's not a good reason to cheer for their team.

Funny, there are 2-3 teams in the Big-12 better than any in the SEC.

You can never get everyone to agree on anything so that is kind of silly.
OU would drub LSU right now, it would not be pretty. Texas and Missouri also both could possibly be better than any team in the SEC over the course of a season.

After reading thru all the replies in this post, 2 points come to mind.
1) What makes anyone believe that USC will not lose again? I do believe they WILL lose again. However, if they don't, they Will be in the national championship game.
2) When LSU lost last year to unranked Arkansas while being at #1 I believe we fell to #7. I thought USC woulfd fall out of the top 10 but it doesn't suprise me that they didn't.

USC went from 1 to 9, while LSU went from 1 to 7. What do you have a problem with?

Arkansas had Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis. And nothing against Mr. Rodgers, he's become my favorite Pac-10 RB overnight, but those three > him.
I bet he becomes McFadden 2.0 if he keeps this up, though.

Most ignorant post ever. You don't really believe this do you? If so, you should seek professional help.

I would bet money right now on Missouri Texas or Oklahoma over any SEC team right now. I may think twice about a Missouri Bama matchup but that's it.

When was the last time Oklahoma won a bowl game?

I am not talking bowl games I am talking right now.

I'm talking end results. Put them against a quality team and look what happens, get off of their nuts. The sec speaks for itself.
