Haha then I guess you guys need to talk about someone else. How about Auburn?

Oh, if we and Auburn keep our winning streaks going against them, I kinda dread the day we get to 21 wins. So many gumps having to get naked to count that high.

1999:

quote:

"I don't like the fact that there are rumors about me wanting to go back to the NFL," said Saban, who was defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns from 1991-94 and who coached the secondary of the Houston Oilers from 1988-89. Saban has also been offered head coaching jobs with the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts in the past few years.

"If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't be here today. It was not my goal to be an NFL coach. It's my goal to bring this program to the highest level," he said of LSU.

Saban spoke fondly of his team at Michigan State and appeared to get choked up when he explained that he enjoys coaching college football because of the effect he can have on young players' lives. He said informing his Michigan State team that he was leaving was the most difficult thing he has ever had to do professionally, and he wished them success in the upcoming Citrus Bowl.

Three months from now:

quote:

"Nobody here expected to be 2-6 aiiight. It is not where we wanted to be. But it is where we are relative to our exact position in time, space and matter. It is what it is, aiight. We are where we deserve to be. Finebaum ! Take your hand out of your pocket while I'm talking, i'm not going to tell you again!!"

"These rumors about UW are not true. I promise you that on my son's life. Terry we still have a son, don't we? Anyhow, If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't be here. it is not my goal to coach the Huskies. it is my goal to win here at LS, er, um i mean...Terry what city are we in again ?"

Does Saban really have a son or is that part of the joke?

Yes he has a son who should be around 21 or so. He has been in and out of trouble for a while now. He also has a daughter.

What happened to Saban's son is just like what happened to the oldest son of the Cunningham's on Happy Days. Nobody knows what happened to Chuck.
