Its a shame that MSU's schedule is so tough this year cause its probably going to hold them back another year. I could see them getting to 6 wins but anything over that's going to be tough when you've got Florida and Georgia in your East schedule and another tough game OOC at Houston.

Don't think either team will be that great and its on the road. I didn't put a whole lot of time into this, its very winnable but I'd probably slightly favor Tennessee. Its a swing game for Ole Miss if they want to get to 8 wins or so.This post was edited on 7/16/10 at 12:34 pm

Arky/Auburn - Toss up. Whoever wins this game gets second in the West.
LSU - All that talent, but coaching and the quarterback position are holding them back.
Ole Miss - Too much talent to replace, mainly McCluster. He was their offense.
Miss State - Yupp.
This. Although it wouldn't surprise me if LSU, AUB, and Ark tied for 2nd place.

We also moved a TE that rotated there last year to FB. We add Randall Mackey and Q Mireles who are both freak athletes at WR and I expect to contribute right away. Im not gonna sit here and act like its not going to be tough to replace Geralds and Jerry. That would be down right foolish.

I'm not expecting us to see TOO much drop off at RG this year. The reason why Jerry was moved to RG was because Rishaw Johnson got on Nutt's shite list last season. Rishaw was good enough to start last year and we return him this year. Not saying he'll be better than Jerry, but he is a returning starter.

I was thinking maybe 5-3 in conference play. I can't see 4 (pre bowl) 10 win teams in the same division.

You dont have to. AU could lose to Clemson, Arky could lose to A&M, and LSU could lose to UNC and WVU. That would leave one 10+ team...Bama, 2 9 win teams...AU and Arky, and a strange second place in the west 8 win LSU team.

I understand football very well, I played it and have followed it all of my life. I am basing my comment on returning offense from last yaar (which Ole Miss lost a ton with Snead, Hodge, and D-Mac) also on the number of returning starting Offensive and Defensive starters which State has more of than Ole Miss.
Im not trying to get into a pissing contest, but I think we have more coming back than yall do and im not including any recruits that we signed.
