Its going to be fun seeing two completely new offensive styles around the league. It will be interesting to see how people prepare for them the first time around.

I think our style of offense will be similar to Cam Newton's AU offense. I doubt we have the same results but I think that would be the best comparison.

I agree, but I am still struggling to include them, and remembering they are in the SEC.

@ Mizzou fan putting 1 HB and 3 WR's on his All-SEC list. You ain't in the Bevo conference any more boy. Over here we have teams that run the football and the backfields are 3 and 4 deep.

Mizzou is in over their heads in all ways.

WTF?

And how often do you see 2 HB's on the field at the same time? Now how often do you see a 3 WR set? One is much more common than the other.

I understand you named your team following rationale and reality, but RB gets 2 spots.

It's not the same thing that Cam ran all over the SEC with but it's the only thing i've seen in the SEC that's remotely similar.

Voters love stats and if a TE has 700 yards receiving versus 300 he may very well get the nod on that alone, system or not.

I really enjoy how you post some stats to try and slant it your way.

But you leave out the fact that Lutz had 7 TDs compared to Gragg's 2.

Or you could have looked at it in a percentage wise statistic. Arkansas threw the ball 471 times for 3909 yds & 26 TDs. Auburn thew the ball 292 times for 2022 yds & 17 TDs.

Lutz was responsible for 41% of the TD receptions, 14.6% of total receptions, and 11.8% of the yards.
Gragg was responsible for 7.7% of the TD receptions, 13.7% of total receptions, and 13.3% of yards.

Pretty easy to see who was more effective in their respective offense.
Well, pretty easy to see to non-Arkansas fans.

ETA: And let's not forget great plays like the interception/strip against USCe.

Mitchell has barely played any WR this spring.

I pointed that out. I'm pretty sure he moved to DB.

Good list but IMO Tharold Simon has a better chance than Loston of making All-SEC. Though Loston is no slouch and should he stay healthy and live up to his potential I will be eating my words.

Simon is the next in line of stud CB's from LSU.

Gragg > Lutz

You have to remember Lutz was the lead blocker on almost every single running play as well. He was the cog of the offense last year.

If we're doing a preseason team with 2 running backs:

Marcus Lattimore
Christine Michael (the only one who could stop Michael last year was Mike Sherman)

Hamilton is not the top wr prospect. He may be the top SR but there are at least 5 or 6 underclassmen rated higher.
