A LOT of places will fire you wihtout a Dr's note. The fact that most hourly workers will come to work sick is on the employers and the fact that we are the only western nation without paid sick leave. That's not on the workers, this system was designed to maximize corporate profit, not keep workers healthy. They can always get more workers...

If people are walking around all over with it and aren’t dropping like flies it would be a good thing. Means people are fighting it off. Despite the media saying the world is ending.

Why is it so hard for people to understand.......if you are young and healthy, you should be fine. Good for you. If you are elderly, or have underlying medical issues, you are in trouble if you get it.

I understand we have become a society of "all about me"..........but damn. This isn't some made up media bullshite. This is a world wide problem at the moment.

I think we all understand the issue here, everyone just has their own level of alarm over this thing.

I've made arrangements for my mother & 2 aunts (+70) to stay home. I'm having groceries & medications delivered their houses and those old girls can watch church on TV, read books, and work in their yards to occupy them for a while. Too high of a risk to have them carousing all over town for no reason other than to go to the store to gossip with their friends and pick up nothing but a damn loaf of bread.

I should strive for better. Today I will start urinating on people’s desks at random.
