And you are right Dale. There isn't much rehab he can do to maintain muscle mass with a broken ankle.

I know, from experience, he won't be weight bearing for months either. If the cartalidge (sp) is destroyed he could be looking at a fusion, which would end his career.
He should be riding on a knee scooter, so I'll await for LSUFreek's take on things.

Ankle surgeries are a bitch. Reconstructions are hard to come back from. I'm hoping its just a small tibial or fibulae fracture though. "broken ankle" can mean so many things.

Yeah, Ankle is pretty general. I shattered my calcaneous (sp), there was only 7 pieces left, the rest were shards. One plate, 7 screws, and a fused Sub Talar was the fix.

He is dancing around too much and looks like he needs to lose 10 pounds. Eddie is a one cut downhill runner who is trying to get the big play on every carry.
The O-line isn't doing him any favors though. Their 2nd level blocking has been non-existant.
