Made the NCAA tournament 6 of his first 7 years coaching and never lost in the 1st round. He made 2 elite 8’s and a NCAA final in his 1st 3 years as a P5 coach. He was a great recruiter and was a good coach.
There are a lot more just like him and Musselman that are either really good or great recruiter’s that haven’t proved they are great in game coaches. There are a lot of really good in game coaches that are bad recruiter’s. Musselman hasn’t proved he is both yet is all am saying.
It’s a huge leap to say he is already a great coach.

Did you see the talent he had to work with his first 3 years. No way an average coach takes 2 of those teams to the elite 8. He’s an outstanding coach.
His recruiting is speaking for itself now so he’s proven he’s a very good coach and recruiter. You need to know what you’re talking about before you comment.

I haven’t heard of any dislike towards Pearl. Why would he dislike him?
Why do you think Muss is a bad boy or dickhead? This could be said of you by anyone.
There is no rivalry between our teams, just another conference game.
I like Pearl, he’s a firey coach, like Muss, and I wanted him over Anderson but it worked out for the best for both schools.
No need in disparaging a coach because he’s successful.
