You do realize that the vast majority of legit NC's has come under two HC's, right? saban is having a hell of a run. If history repeats itself, bama will be irrelevant for the next thirty years after he retires.

Keep moving that goal post. Good luck replacing Saban when he leaves. It worked so well the last time you had to replace a legend.
If anything , Auburn has proved that pretty much any coach they hire can go undefeated or reach the NC.

Squeezed the '92 title from one of Bryant's assistants. Alabama went with the older crew with Curry and Perkins after Bryant. Smart will win his fair share since he is basically Nick Saban made over.

Saying that, you can only hope thats what happens. Guess we will forget about our SEC titles and '92 title.
Not that is matters to present day, but Wallace Wade and Frank Thomas are Southern legends themselves.
