Musburger thinks that Florida needs to watch out for Troy? Are you kidding? Southern Miss Beat Troy last year in the new Orleans Bowl.

Herbstreet says Florida vs. Bama in SECCG

Player to watch: UF TE Aaron Hernandez

I think they should at least go to C-USA. Small step up.

The SEC will come down to LSU and Florida. The winner wins the National Championship. I'd favor Florida in that. But not by a lot. There will be a ton of pressure on Bama and Ole Miss. I think LSU takes both of them. We'll beat one of those two.

I can see Florida vs. LSU in the SECCG but Auburn will not beat either Bama or Ole Miss, you guys dont have the depth. I think you guys will have a decent season but I dont see you guys beating LSU, Ole Miss, or Bama.

I still don't understand how people can just assume great ball control from Bama's offense. You would hope for that as a team, but it is being thrown around like it is a given fact.

1. They lose two All-American lineman and another starter. They then replace them with inexperience.

2. A guy is taking over QB that has no meaningful experience.

3. The offense has been based around a power run game and lack experience for it. One legit WR and inexperienced QB also does not typically make you want to put the game on their shoulders either.

Bama has a great defense, but I find it weird people are completely overlooking the offensive questions. It is just assumed everything will be fine when the most important offensive players are being replaced with inexperience. If the offense ends up solid they will be one of the better teams in the nation; however, why is the benefit of the doubt being given to such a questionable thing?

If AU gets very lucky on the injury front AU could make a strong run. That said it will depend on the injury front, our starting 22 are as good as anyone's right now and our depth is good at every position but the two very critical spots linebacker and offensive line.

Bama is replacing their center, left tackle, and guard. Center and left tackle are the two most critical spots on the offensive line it could be a rough season for Bama if their defense can't hold off other teams Bama could cough up a few games. Imagine if Bama had UGA's season last year, LT, Center, Guard, DT, and other linemen go down the season would go in the toilet quickly. Injuries are the key.

I don't think anyone is overlooking it. I think many people are curious to see how the line does. As far as other key positions, TE, we have Peek, who has a season at Ga Tech and did well. Our other tight ends have good game time experience as well. We return a RB who had over 700 yards in a secondary role and another who was our leading rusher 3 years ago. The QB has been here for going on 4 years now, and while not much experience game time, there's something to be said to be versed and trusted by the players and the system.

I think alot realize that while we are young, we have developed some depth the last two years, and while we lost some great leaders, we have good talent returning to replace them, something we didn't have in previous years.

All good programs have the same thing, so what makes your team that much special?

We're coming off a season where we just ran the table and didn't have any coaching/coordinator changes. And we're Bama.

Chris Todd's arm is back to 100%. Benton is doing great by all accounts. We'll be better than you guys think.
