Uga has won 4 of the last 7 games vs uf. Quite the change from what you desperately cling to.

But 3 of those were against Muschump. McElwain went 3 of 4 against the dogs and only lost after he knew he was getting fired and the team quit on him.

Tebow had Harvin, Demps, and Rainy along with Riley Cooper and a host of other talented guys especially at TE.

Please name me guys comparable to those above on State's team when Dak was there? Don't waste too much time because you won't find them. His best WR was a 2* basketball player turned WR...

Dak would have won a couple NCs at UF just like Tebow did.

At least we had a couple, you guys are cheating your balls off right now just hoping to get one. I’d rather be us, that’s for damn sure.

I remember when UF used to "cheat" their balls off.

We’ve certainly had our moments it’s worth it when you win a couple championships. We’ll see how it plays out for y’all.

Hope we can get the breaks we need. Hard to win it all without the breaks.

Very true, unless you’re Nick Saban apparently he makes his own breaks.

It’s not like Florida hasn’t done it, I’m not crucifying anyone, I’m just pointing out the obvious. There is no way all these kids are playing for bowl cut for free, it doesn’t make any logical sense. It is what it is though and I hope we start beating you at the cheating game again eventually.

We all cheat. That’s a fact. I just don’t believe we’re cheating our balls off more than the next school. These kids want to play for the next “great thing” and Kirby is selling them all that he’s got it. (Not saying he does, just that he’s a good salesman)

UGA’s recruiting is typically in the 8-12 National ranking range. Kirby is just adding a few extra 5 and 4 stars, and less 3’s than Richt used to get. Not strange at all like the Ole Miss situation.

Even Saban gets the breaks as proven by 2011, 2012, and 2017.

Ehh I don’t think it’s Ole Miss but I don’t think it’s “normal” and I want to re-itterate I don’t blame you.

Most of our rivals dont understand the difference between Richt and Smart. One is merely good at recruiting, the other is great.

Stars absolutely do matter.

Look at the average number of 4/5 star players on the national championship teams the past 20 years, they have WAY WAY more on average than other teams.

Also, almost all 1st and 2nd round NFL draft picks were 4/5 star high school recruits as well.

Just because some 5 stars don't pan out and some 3 stars or below become great doesn't mean they "don't matter"

While the evidence certainly suggest this is true, the qualities of a great recruiter in the SEC, are knowing the right people, letting those people do their job, and plausible deniability. Smart seems very well taught by the master of all three, and he has an entire state at his disposal, that will literally do anything to finally have a winner. Richt was just a dumbass.
