Are you a pro scout? Or just an anonymous poster talking shite on a message board? If cody weighed in at 370 then that's 5 to 10 lbs more than his weight during the season. The season where he was voted unanimous first team All American. Dude's gonna get drafted in the 1st round whether you like it or not.

Nope but based on what I've read from pro scouts he had the worst, least toned body there.

There's no way Pat and Kevin Williams are both under 320. No way. Have you seen the size of those guys.

Scouts always overreact from combines, Senior Bowl, etc. Someone will take a chance on Cody. Many people were convinced Andre Smith screwed himself out of the first round, but he still went top ten.

he will have to lose weight to be succesful at the next level. The game speed is alot faster and he will have to get faster and lighter.

the difference in those two guys is they actually make tackles and have defensive production... Cody simply takes up space... little to nothing else. He is the product of some ridiculous hype.

No doubt. I'm not saying he drops out of the first round. I'm just saying their is no way he is the 1st NT taken. Tenn's Dan Williams has run away with that title.

One of the Williams DTs with the Viking is 380 easily, and Gilbert Brown played near 390 for a few seasons

Pat Williams is in the 330-350 range and Brown never got above 360.

The heaviest player in the last 10-15 years in the NFL was an offensive lineman by the name of Aaron Gibson who was like 6'9 390 lbs. Never started a game.

Ok add 20 pounds that still only puts the heavier of the two at 340. 340 is Cody's ideal weight.

Yet, he may be the biggest reason Alabama led, or was second, in run defense in the country for 2008 and 2009. I guess we'll see how well Josh Chapman and Kerry Murphy take over at NG.

I have to agree that Cody needs to lose some weight. Best thing he has going for him is that he IS very athletic. Hell the frick and dickhead show on 680 the fan in Atlanta were ripping his arse pretty good. I would not mind seeing him lose 45 lbs and stomp both there asses I mean at least Buck was an athlete at one time that limp dick kincade is just a philly steak eating homer

Suh and McCoy are the best overall DTs in this draft, but Cody is the best 3-4 DT in the draft. If the Steelers want to go ahead and get a replacement for Casey Hampton, then Cody is the guy to get.

It's deceiving. Have you seen Johnny Jolly of the Packers? Enormous and is probably 340 (maybe less)

"however, he has to drop weight".......did you watch the 2009 football season? No team successfully ran between the tackles because of cody. If I owned an NFL team and wanted to stop teams from rushing between the tackles, I would draft cody. If you won't take my word for it, then ask Nick Saban.

Right now i think the former Vol Dan Williams has passed him right now. Williams apparently looked very impressive at the weigh in. He held 330 very well.
