21-win SEC team snubbed, and now the first 23-win SEC team snubbed and not invited to the NCAA tourney.

That sucks for us.

I figure Auburn last year was the first 22-game winner snubbed.

The NCAA doesn't just hate on you. I thought you should have gotten in though

A few free throws made and there wouldn't be a problem

Y'all got shafted. You finished first in the SEC West and all the teams in from the SEC are from the east.

The SEC easts dominance over the west basically put a lump of shite over any teams considered outta the west division... I mean if you can't even beat one of the top teams from a division of your conference, how can you expect to make the dance? Beating LSU, Bama, and Arkansas ain't gonna do the trick. State or Ole Miss HAD to win the SEC tourney..

Two things.

I believe Saturday was State's first win over an opponent with a RPI of 50 or lower.

Secondly, you outta work harder on a non-conference schedule. That's what the selection committee is going to say. It's what I will say. If your RPI is that low with that many wins it means one thing. Schedule.

We kinda saw this coming but to get shafted twice with 20+ wins is wrong. The committee should have taken into account the way you played against Kentucky Sunday.

The tourney needs to expand, mainly bc the current system always leaves out some ridiculously qualified. Rather than going to field of 96, maybe just more "play-in" games.

Sorry State. You had a heck of a run!

I just finished the replay - my god Miss state was so unlucky to lose that game in regulation. So many things had to happen and bounce the right way for Kentucky. Alas, if they only hit their free throws they are in.

That said losing two games to number 1 Kentucky in overtime seems absurd that they didn't get in over many other teams - including Florida.

As for Kentucky, Cousins needs to chill out a bit with the immaturity and attitude - it's going to cost them at some point.

Miss State was clearly screwed but come on guys - hit the Free throws and you're in.

Miss State has no one to blame but themselves. Just look at all the missed opportunities in the games your team lost. It seemed the whole focus was getting the blocked shots record this year.

I don' blame the committee. I blame our team for not playing up to their potential until the end of the season. Mainly I blame our coach who did a great job in the tournamet. Always waits until the end of the season to show he can coach a little bit.

That sucks. I hate it for y'all. I believe Bama got snubbed in the early part of the decade (can't remember year) with 20+ wins because our OOC schedule was terrible.
