And we gave up most of the passing yards. Damn, why can't you people just appreciate the stats he posted instead of trying to one up the others?

Actually, CSU didn't either. Though BYU is much more impressive, obviously.

Auburn, did GSU cross the 50?

I felt bad for the QBs in these games and the Bama game. All of those guys took a beating. I think Stinchcomb called them crash dummies.

Should be a good battle between State, LSU and Auburn for 2nd in the West.

I will say, I was down on LSU going into the season, however, they played a lot better yesterday than I was expecting. SEC West looking strong again. Best division from top to bottom in college football, and honestly it's not even close.

And LSU had 3 defensive starters out for this game, 7 total in the defensive 2-deep.

4 true freshmen started on defense.

Buck LB - K'Lavon Chaisson
Safety - Grant Delpit
ILB - Tyler Taylor
Nickel - Kary Vincent Jr

GSU had the ball inside our 10 once, might have been one of the only times they threatened all game though.

Gotcha. Was just curious since I knew their only TD was not an offensive one.

Yep, especially when your consider that State and Auburn played 2nd and 3rd team defensive players for the majority of the second half.

Mizzou gave up 492 yards to Missouri State, who went 2-6 in their D2 conference last year.

208 total yards through 180 minutes of football is ABSURD. This means each team essentially played mistake free football on the defensive side.

This.

All three teams played great on defense yesterday. Bama was Bama and Florida just shouldn't have shown up.

When you look at the staggering numbers, it's a sign that all three have a great defense this year. You don't shut ANY team (regardless of quality) to those kind of numbers otherwise. Ask Mizzou.

Well our pass defense will be tested this week. Don't have to wait long.

With 1:03 left in the game, our D had only given up 52 total yards. Gus put the walk ons in and Southern got 26 yards to two plays with less than a min on the clock. Ran it up to 78 total yards offense.

I am not sure many of our DB's got tackles. Not many plays got past the LOS. Plus, I think we had 5 sacks..

It was fun to watch against a triple option team

Yeah, when Dan took our starters out halfway through the 3rd, we had given up 9 yards. I kinda wish he would've left them in. It was fun to watch.
