Something that hadn't been seen since the late 90's with Joe Lee Dunn. That was a good D that ranked #1 in the 90's. Don't get it twisted, I'm not saying it's going be a #1 defense, just good and exciting.

Stop Pettway up the middle 40 times in a row and you stop Auburn. It is literally their only play worth a damn. We fired the dumbass that couldn't stop your only play Auburn. You should probably be a little more concerned than you are. MSU is 3-2 vs AU last 5 years.

Yet many of those players like Dak Prescott are no longer there. Meanwhile Auburnn returns a ton of players who beat your brains out in your own stadium last year and has won about 70 percent of the head to head games all time

Sorry that I don't believe the hype for a team that went 5-7 last year just because you have beaten a couple of high school teams this year. I actually think you go 0-3 in the three games mentioned

I really don't think we know enough about the team yet to know how we will do.

I do think it's going to come down to OL play for State this year.

How do y'all think y'all will do in this stretch? If y'all win 2/3 y'all will be in a really good position. Even if y'all win one you'll be fine but I think y'all will have to win one of these games if you want to have a shot at a good bowl.

I haven't seen that many Y'alls since He Haw.

I just hope we come through healthy. It sux to have these three in a row, but it will definitely toughen us up and show us what we have.

We still have a lot of young guys. It will be good for them.

With 2 on the road it is very possible we lose all three, but I hope we pull one... and I hope it is this Saturday's game.

You realize Auburn can still bring in Sean White who lead Auburn to a massive beat down of Moo State last year. He was suspended for the first two games but is coming back this week.

Not to be argumentative but it was the Auburn running attack and State's woefull rushing AND passing Defense that led to last years beatdown.

MSU D has looked much improved and new DC, Grantham has them playing an attacking D.

State's defensive improvement has come against high school teams. Meanwhile Auburn's defense largely shut down the defending national champions. A team who is probably better than State at every single position on offense

Are we still the only team to play 3 straight Top 15 teams? We were based on pre-season rankings. I know it will change as the rankings change

Best answer yet.

I feel like our defense has improved enough to keep us in all three games, but if we cannot establish the run and protect Fritz we're in trouble in all three.

Don't judge Auburn by the Clemson game. Those dudes at Clemson have a sick defense.

Georgia showed they are better than some expected with that win at ND. ND may or may not be good, but it is a tough place to play.

I think y'all are. That's why if y'all win 2 or 3 of those games y'all will be legit. If yall win one MSU will still be fine.

Vegas has the over / under for total wins at 5.5. So you are telling me that you think they can beat ranked teams three weeks running? Damn you are dumb

yeah man, that's exactly what I'm telling you because we all know playing LSU and 2 top 20 SEC teams on the road is easy. Real easy. Damn you are dumb.

I'd be very happy to win 1. The rest of the schedule looks to set up pretty well afterwards, so any win in that gauntlet is a positive.

It's not just the rankings. These are 3 styles that we don't match up with real well: Salty Defenses have been difficult for MSU to overcome. As much as we love Fitz, he's still relatively young in his FB career. And he's getting zero help from the receiving corp.

I'd feel a lot more confident playing 3 Big12 type teams.

Def lose all 3, IMO.

Hell, La Tech put up 21 points and should have been 28pts, if not for that ridiculous fumble on the goal line.

They just don't look good to me. Fortunately, they play LSU saturday and they will tell a lot.
