Don't know about State but the reason we're with and will likely stay with Adidas is that they pay far better than Nike. Our contract comes up soon and Nike and UA want in on it so maybe Nike will match Adidas but I doubt it. I actually like Adidas better, especially now that Nike's basically sponsoring Oregon (way beyond a uni contract) and is always going to treat them better than anyone else.

Dale...you are right on the nose with that one. They look just like UT's special Grey uniforms with a few exceptions.
1). UT's uniform is in an alternative color that hasn't been worn before.
2). UT's jerseys have outlined numbers (orange with white)
3). UT's only have the SEC logo on the left shoulder (unlike MSU's).
4). UT's pants have orange stripes down the side.
5). UT's helmets are unchanged from their other uniforms.
Well, they are Adidas jerseys...they are the same color as their pants, and they do have the same stretch marks that all Adidas Jerseys have this year.
Other than that, there isn't much they have in common at all.

Mizzou was also one of the orginal Pro Combat uniforms for our rivalry game in 2009 along with LSU and other schools...and I must say that one still looks sharp. Lotsa confederate gray going on there to say

Nowadays of course, that sort of black-on-matte gray look has proliferated all over college football and you see Tenn and Kentucky etc breaking out grays. But in 2009 it was still pretty groundbreaking and cool. Its hard goddam work being this cutting edge.
