People are finally talking about State baseball.
This will probably boost fundraising for the new stadium.

Just to put this in perspective, our ordained minister coach is preaching at Mississippi's largest church Sunday. State is hiding frick in shirts.
I'd be more upset about my coach being an ordained minister

So was this just the ultimate easter egg by some graphic design guy at adidas?

Those shirts were so hideous that SWAC schools wouldn't wear them.

Have you not kept up with Adidas? It is amazing the clown outfits they will produce for us and that Stricklin will actually approve them. Like I said, hopefully this can break our contract and us go to UA. Nike is out of the question, I believe.
None of adidas' other schools in any other sport have worn gear that has a vulgar reference to a rival. First rule in business when something like this happens is to throw the vendor under the bus. That's public relations 101. If you think these weren't approved by someone in the Miss. State athletic department (and closer to the point, the baseball department) before they went out, you're naive.
It smacks of another bush league move by John Cohen. It's a shame because Miss. State has always seemed to be above this kind of stuff, but it reflects poorly on the school.

Cohen is a douche and I hope he's there forever

I've met so many State fans that hate Cohen

and that Stricklin will actually approve them.
quote:Agree, but just like last year, Louisville, NC State, and Cincinnati followed suit with similar ridiculous outfits. We are the guinea pig for the ridiculousness of Adidas. Not saying they would have done similar designs for other schools, but it wouldn't have surprised me.

Many agree he is a douche bag, but winning/doing a good job cures all; see Hendo and Bjork.

Well Cohen for one. Stricklin is a weird loser but not really douche. Could see Howland making a push for the second spot.
