if neither bolts...they still fricked. At least MSU fans know they are a one and done type team. Prescott is to Mullen what Cam was to chiz, imo.....I don't even think it is debatable that MSU will be back to normal next year. As for Ole Miss...they had one good recruiting class......and have 4-5 good players, really good players from it...but that's just it...it's still Ole Miss....they don't get those classes every year like the elite teams do....you HAVE to get them every year to maintain.......when this year is all said and done.....Ole Miss has a great chance of finishing behind LSU.....like they have for most of the last two decades...and LSU is only going to get better the next few years.

do you kids really think it makes you sound "cool" or something to act stupid on here and flame away. Maybe I'm just too old these days, but I have much more respect for posters that offer legit arguments/insight.

You don't hear a single LSU fan on here trying to take away from Miss State. I'm glad you guys are having some success, and you have a really good player, actually a couple really good players. LSU has improved dramatically since they played you, and somehow almost beat you. I'm for sure not saying that LSu could win a rematch....but to say LSU hasn't improved, you are being ignorant.

As for the long run, you know, and I know, that MSU will be back to normal next year. There is a reason LSU won 19 of last 20.....and if you think that return doesn't happen next year, with LSU playing all those true freshmen....well, anyway, good luck on the rest of the year. IF LSU can't win the SEC (there still is a chance) then I'm hoping you guys do.

there's also a reason LSU has the longest streak in the nation of seasons with 8+ wins. One more win and that streak reaches 15 seasons.

Let me get this straight. You think all the other years were just being unlucky, and that even after losing all your seniors on D, and Prescott, that you are somehow going to be back in the hunt again next year? Good god. I like MSU...but jesus Christ, at least be realistic. You haven't even won THIS year yet, when the perfect storm hit for you.....for the most part, I thought Ole Miss was far more delusional that MSU fans...but I guess there are always a few in every fanbase.

Let me ask you something kid...do you know how many times, how many years, LSU has been in position to win a NC? Almost every single year. To listen to you, one would think MSU has already won the thing. What are you going to hang, at the end of the year, when and if you don't have even a SEC W banner to hang? Will you hang the rankings on October 28th? Jesus.....Karma is a bitch you know.

MSU is impressive this season, easily the best team I have seen play thus far, whether live or on the TV.

Just saying I'm happy for MSU....proud of them for getting a chance to experience this....but to think you have any chance at all in sustaining this is being completely delusional. Your own coach knows that and will be gone at the end of this year, in all likelihood....it's not a slam at MSU....you just aren't going to be elite there, and should cherish this year for as long as you can......there is still the toughest part of the season to come, and it's obvious fans like you have no clue about that, nor have any experience at winning with class.

What is your point? Ole Miss has put together some very impressive recruiting classes and it has materialized on the field.

Ole Miss defense will allow them to compete at a very high level for at least the next couple of years....at a minimum.

What happens when they don't have to win in spite of their QB?
LSU won the game by 3 points at home.....win with some grace brah

Grace.....spotted 4 tos including a fumble on the 1yd line and a missed field goal. You overstate the number of great classes as well.
