I can imagine some teams leaving the conference in the future, and it has nothing to do with all the BS I've seen here. I believe that the playoff system, when expanded, will lead to conference reallignments. I can see schools leaving the conference for better oppurtunities to make the playoffs. Particularly since the regular season won't matter as much. You fools enjoy.

Um, nah. Reality is that no one will want to leave a conference in the future for the exact reasons you claim they might.
The 1970s taught everyone lessons about leaving conferences.

LSU would be a good fit for Big 12 imo. Once they left Ark would soon follow establishing a conference with 4 traditional football schools. Add a few more descent schools and you will have the start of something great. A SWC reboot.

The article in question is a few days old. The article it was playing off of was last December. So no, it's not a year and a half old.
