Because the SEC is attempting to spread its footprint to the very edge of its boundaries to capture recruits and television markets... what do y'all think of perhaps moving the SEC Championship game out of Atlanta for a year or two?

I think it would be really neat to see the game outdoors at a place like Kansas City, or in Dallas. In Dallas it would probably end up at Jerry World, but being from Dallas, I think it would be even cooler to have it at the Cotton Bowl. Have it outdoors, and poach Texas/OU's tradition...

I guess Houston could work too.

It's not like you have to worry about playing in it anytime soon. But yeah, I loved Jerry world last year

I would favor SEC locations that could handle, say, 80,000 travelers. Athens/ATL, B.R./N.O, A&M/Houston, Nashville, etc. on a rotational basis.

You're never going to get to the SEC Championship no matter what city its in.

I personally think Reliant would be sexy for the SEC Championship.

Atlanta has become the tradition.

It is central to the conference and when their new stadium is complete you will have jerry world east in the ATL.

Believe me, Atlanta wants superbowls and ncaa championships.

And they have the wallet to do so.

It's bad enough I have to listen to original SEC members trying to move the baseball tourney out of Hoover. Now the fricking newbies want to move the football championship game out of Atlanta?

Aggies got some nerve thinking they can come in and immediately move our championship game

Though that being said, I did love Jerry's World.

This is why no one really wanted you in the SEC. You can't come here hoping for change. We do as we please. If you wanted to play a conference championship in Jerry's world or Reliant or where ever, you should have stayed in the Big 12 with Texas.
