Have you ever heard of Katrina? You realize what it did to N.O. right?

Seems like I remember going down there right after Katrina to clean up some friends houses in Slidell so yeh I guess I've heard of it

If you say so. I remember not too long ago though that the Saints were all but packed up to leave N.O. so please don't act like everyone in N.O. has always supported the Saints like they want everyone to think

The Saints sold out all but one game in the 2000s, Benson wanted a new stadium and the state didn't want to do it. Katrina came along and it came him an excuse to move but the NFL forced him back. It had nothing to do with fan support.

Good. Then you should know why they almost had to leave N.O. It's a miracle the place is still kicking.

I don't have a cold, I lied. The Coast was obliterated, nothing left in places like Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, etc. New Orleans flooded. I know New Orleans is a whole lot bigger and there is a whole lot more history down there than the Coast can ever think about having but I just feel as if we don't get a fair shake sometimes. We actually got it worse than New Orleans.

Well it was portrayed a little differently in some of the articles I read about the situation but I trust you

Well I lost my house, my school, my town, everything I own so I kinda do. It's not really glory, I just want people to know that we got it worse, I guess.

Who is saying we didn't? Fact is, N.O. is much bigger with much more to "lose" as a whole. That's why they had more media. I mean, literally, a whole city was almost lost. I completely understand that our coast was trashed. I have many friends and family who lost houses and such. I also can realize why N.O. got more media attention.

I understand that. It's best to realize that people down there are lucky to even have a place to move back too
All of my friends from the coast bought Xbox's with the money that they were given to Wal-Mart, so all was not lost
