Good lord are we really still arguing this horseshite? Be pissed LSU played the most conservative game in history, not about one play

Thats fine, but your fellow Aubie has questioned the football knowledge of about 20 people telling him he's wrong in this thread. He is insisting upon an ignorance of the game.

The call should have stood, and the refs incorrectly picked up the flag because they thought the ball was tipped prior to contact. Its that simple.

No, they didnt. The ref even states it was tipped, therefore no PI. A catchable ball is not dictated by a tip or any other defensive action.

Umm they said the tip rendered it uncatchable.

Well considering yall are interpreting rules that aren't there I do question it.

He set a trap for you and you walked right into it. Better yet, you still have no idea what you did

Was a trap yes I know. And I gave the same answer I've been giving. The one that goes along with the rules. Not sure you know.

I just watched the video again, the ref gives the tipped ball sign and says "The ball was tipped prior to contact being initiated with the receiver. There is no foul on the play."

I give up. You have made going "full gump" into the second greatest level of stupid. Going "NYCAuburn" has surpassed that by orders of magnitude. If I was still making an argument, that would be a really shite way to make one, but I'm not anymore. I'm just not wasting any more time trying to HELP someone who has his head too far in the sand to be helped. If you ever do come to your senses, I'll be around.

Dore,

Let's start over.

2 parts to pi, correct?

One is contact, correct?

One is a catchable ball, correct?

I have conceded contact was made, there is no questioning that. I have asked numerous times how was the ball catchable? you can't inject possibilities and must include the tip.

So if you would like to help explain how he could have made a play on the ball. He was already moving and the contact did not change his direction. So please explai. How he could have caught it.

It's funny you post that along with the others claiming booms etc... Yet not one person has actually used the rule as it's stated and in fact using their own interpretations.

I was laughing at both the phrasing and the fact that you insist the tip matters.

Well considering it renders the ball uncatchable for the receiver I'd say it matters just a bit.

No actual reply though?
