This is all so wrong

How is everyone even rating these jobs?
Resources?
In state talent?
History?
Facilities?
Recent success?
It all depends on how you rate it, obviously.

Correct. I think everyone can agree that the top 3 are Bama, LSU and UF. I'd put UGA at 4.

6. Tennessee
7. A&M
8. Carolina
9. Arkansas
In no particular order:
10. Ole Miss
11. Mississippi State
12. Mizzou -If y'all win, you may jump the MS schools. You have zero elite talent within hundreds of miles of your campus.
13. Vandy
14. Kentucky
Its funny that TAMU fans are disrespecting Mizzou more than most of the fan bases on here.
Really? No elite talent within hundreds of miles of our campus. Wow.
-Missouri has two large cities within 1.5 hours of campus. Both KC and STL have picked up in HS football big time, less kids play baseball now.
-Missouri just produced the #1 recruit in the nation last year. I think the #4 overall recruit a couple years ago. The 2 Mizzou players drafted in the top 10 of the NFL draft in '11 were both from Missouri.
-Monte Ball? Maybe you heard of him... From STL area.
Problem with Missouri's prospect reputation is they produce like 10-15 real good division 1 players a year (not a ton but more than most states, Nebraska produces 1 every 4 years). These players have spread out all over the country which plays a part in the lack of recognition. That will change as Mizzou finally is locking down its border.
Combine that with the fact that its a top to bottom athletic department. Its got a lot more going for it than you think.

I would rate Alabama low purely from the standpoint that anyone who follows Saban is going to be crucified

Possibly, or they could have learned something following the death of a Bear...

Arkansas has TAMU in 4 out of 5 of those. Did you have them ranked accordingly?

Of course not because it has been one of a thousand individual things that has held them back since 1940...

If A & M is such an attractive job, why do the Aggies frequently field shitty teams? Your opinion is worth what we all paid for it.

I think Mizzou has a good program. I just think you are limited in how much talent you can attract. You can talk all you want about St Louis and Kansas City prospects... Also, I think the Mississippi schools want to win more than you do.

I think you are clueless.

Well that's just luck of the draw.

Yeah but you said we had no elite talent within hundreds of miles of our campus... I was just saying that isn't really true. Our problem has been keeping that talent in Missouri.
Mizzou finally locks down 10 of our top 15 in state players. And keeps grabbing a few from TX. Plus now we've got FLA and GA players interested. The tier 2 players in those states sometimes develop into tier 1 type players. We've seen it time and again. I think it's kind of a sleeping giant, but I'm bias.. so who knows.
I don't argue the Mississippi schools have a stronger drive to win. A lot of distractions up here in pro sports, people want to win but it isn't so centrally focused on mizzou football.

I haven't ranked them. Curious what everyone else has been basing this off of.
In their current forms, you'd take the Arkansas job over TAMU?

I think they are pretty even. I would take Arkansas for obvious reasons.
