That's surprising. We've always been one of the worst in the country going back to Spurrier. Must be something in the water since the same applies to FSU and Miami.

I'm not sure about the past two or three seasons, but in the time window in which Bama had the monster pass rush, their opponents were called for holding at a statistically staggering low rate. Much, much more so than any team.
Reckon they save the flags for when the Tide needs them, though.
