"This case addresses a broader dispute: Defendants' complete lack of institutional control over LSU's athletic programs, their ongoing defiance of the Conference's Professionalism Rules, and the very real threat -- reiterated in Defendants' briefing -- that Defendants will interfere with any effort to terminate LSU's membership in the Conference," the SEC's court filing, issued Tuesday, said. "That dispute remains live."
This motion response from SEC is not a coherent legal argument. this is meant for public consumption. there is nothing in this paragraph that is convincing. it is circular logic.
Arguing that a party to a suit will use legal avenues available by law to prevent potentially serious damages from suing party is not evidence of defiance.
This case has already fallen apart for SEC, and they know it.
SEC is left grasping for straws as they drown, their only evidence that LSU is in defiance is the fact that LSU is defending itself against a lawsuit.

Why does Landry and Murrill keep involving themselves over your Board of Supervisors and school attorneys?
Well they were both named by the SEC in the lawsuit so their feedback, criticisms, and air time on the subject will of course ramp up after that. Seems like the SEC cast too wide a net with that move.
I read your explanation and im curious now if a&m is considered a state school or not? I thought vandy was the only one that wasn't but I could be wrong. I get that Hot Wheels doesnt insert himself but is that because he can't? Is Texas (UT) the same way with a board of regents?
Ideally I dont want my politicians mixing in with my football but its a state run school and I could see why ours would wanna score points taking up for their voters beloved school. I know Georgia's AG opened his mouth about the situation so its not just our politicians voicing shite either. Merrill and the MS AG went back and forth on twitter too I believe.

As a resident of this state and knowing Louisiana politics like we do. Is it good enough for you?
.do you text Sankey and the SEC or Liz?
I'm going with Liz. The SEac has acted in bad faith as she said.
It was never about anything other than going after LSU.
that's why they haven't said shite about other player in the conference that has the same circumstances.
They will lose court(the SEC) and in here for jt
