Vegas Insider has the opening line at -10.5 for the Georgia game tomorrow night...I'm heading to the game and would love to see it competitive, but I just don't see it. I say no doubt lay the 10.5 and collect with UK

Maybe I'm just too snake bitten by UGA athletics to buy into the hype that some think Georgia can challenge UK

This has very little to do with UGA and everything to do with UK. Arkansas is pretty clearly the 2nd best team in the SEC and they got boatraced.

Us being "snake bitten" doesn't really have anything to do with this, IMO.

What's hard to understand? I think we have a pretty good team...definitely tournament worthy...just don't see any way we keep it within the spread. UK is playing way too good right now. And I'm aware it was relatively close at Rupp

I don't like to bet on my team but knowing they're coming off a big win and UGA gave them trouble in Rupp without Thornton, I'd say it's far from easy money.

I'd go with UK covering.

Y'all can keep it close if Fakidas drains threes like he did against us.

10.5? Thanks for the heads up. I will take that all day long. I'm not bashing Georgia, but this is 100% sentiment to Kentucky's team.

Forgive my spelling, but that Djurisic fellow. My buddy in UGA law school said he reminds him of Fakidas from Semi Pro.

Essentially people are going to be betting on whether they think UK has a down game. Nobody denies they are light years better than us, and could name the score if they brought their A+ game.

My hope is that playing on the road, after playing what was perceived as their toughest opponent left at home and dominating, will have them come a little flat. We had gotten really good at hitting 3s lately and our FT shooting has improved...if we're close at halftime who knows.

Kentucky is by far the best team in the country, and should beat us just like they should beat every other team in the country.

That said- It is senior night, at home, and we are healthier than we played them at their place. Do I think we are going to win? No, but betting against your own team is fricking lame, OP.

I don't bet. If I was forced to, I'd go UK all day long with that spread.

Hope I'm wrong.

We beat Georgia twice. Us. South Carolina.

Take UK and collect all day. Profit. You're welcome.

Yet we'll be dancing in the tourney while you might scrape to a 5 seed in the NIT.

Beat UGA; stay at home while they play for hardware. It's the SC way!
